Campground Oregon Wedding – Camp Namanu
When I met Rachel and Brhyn I knew it was fate. These two knew they did want a traditional wedding. Instead they wanted a beautiful wedding weekend of adventure in the forest with all their loved ones. Dream. Come True. Their campground Oregon wedding was truly the most magical wedding weekend ever.
Rachel and Brhyn live a beautiful life of adventure together. They both love archery, hiking, traveling, camping. Pretty much anything that’s in the sunshine. Rachel is an amazing designer and she personally designed all of the wedding decor. She designed a map of the campgrounds for each of their guests on cloth handkerchiefs as the most incredible, unique wedding favors.
Guests camped out at Camp Namanu all weekend, and enjoyed the sunshine, yummy meals, fun lawn games, and swimming in the river together. On the wedding day Rachel and Brhyn began their day with their favorite thing, archery with their family and friends. After lunch the bride and groom went for a swim just the two of the them in the river to soak in all the wedding bliss together. A bald eagle ended showing up during their swim.
The entire day felt like a mini vacation. No timeline. Just goin with the flow. Rachel wore her grandmother’s necklace for their wedding. Her and her sweet bridesmaids all got ready in a cozy little cabin together.
Rachel and Bryhn were literally encircled by all of their loved ones for their wedding ceremony. It was so magical when a handful of their guests stood up one at a time speaking one of Rachel and Brhyn’s favorite poems and quotes about love. The bride and groom sang the sweetest song together which they wrote, while all the guests were in tears and joined in. I’ll never forget the feeling and sound of all the beautiful voices singing together, echoing through the forest.
Rachel and Brhyn’s reception was full of fun lawn games together, the yummiest taco bar, and dinner/speeches in a field under the most beautiful golden light together. The bride and groom ended their wedding day by sleeping under the stars in a tent with a handmade moroccan blanket gifted to them. I could not be more deeply thankful to have gotten to witness and capture such a life changing, completely amazing wedding weekend / party <3
