New Jersey Wedding
Emily and Tommy’s New Jersey tree farm wedding day was so perfectly beautiful. Every single part of their wedding weekend felt like out of a dream. It was such a priceless gift and honor to have gotten to be there to document it all.
I actually met Emily when we were both fresh out of high school in Hawaii at a YWAM DTS, which mixes photography and mission work. We became good friends and stayed in touch even though she lived on the other side of the country in New Jersey. I never in my wildest dreams expected to get a message less than a handful of years after our DTS saying she was about to marry the man of her dreams. Life is so crazy beautiful.
Emily and Tommy wanted their wedding day celebration to be focused on their relationships, their family, friends and God. Emily actually designed her own dress. These two are both photographers and wanted to incorporate lots of film cameras into their decor.
The amount of love and support they had surrounding them on their wedding day was completely breathtaking. Emily and Tommy’s ceremony was filled with worship, prayer, endless happy tears, and ended with running down the aisle through an amazing tunnel made by their wedding party.
Emily and Tommy’s first dance gave everyone goosebumps. My favorite first dance I’ve ever witnessed. After Emily and her sisters surprised their dad with the sweetest group dance to his favorite song. During golden hour we got adventure through the field at Dutch Valley Tree Farm for some photos. Not sure I’ve ever seen a bride and groom more stoked to have tied the knot.
These two were so radiant in love and you could feel it in every image. It was such joy getting to be there and capture their amazingly beautiful wedding weekend in Newark New Jersey.
